Best Monitors Under ₹15,000 in India

What decides it at this price

Fifteen thousand buys a choice between resolution and refresh rate, rarely both. 1440p at 27 inches is a visibly sharper desktop than 1080p at the same size; 144 Hz is a visibly smoother one. Decide which of the two you will notice in the work you actually do.

Two numbers at this price are quoted in the way that flatters them most. Response time is often given as MPRT, which is measured with a backlight trick rather than as the grey-to-grey figure that describes the pixels — a panel advertised at 1 ms can be 4 to 5 ms grey-to-grey, and that is the one that shows as smearing. Contrast ratios in the millions are a dynamic figure measured with the backlight changing, not the static ratio you look at.

Brightness is the specification to read carefully, because it is the one that cannot be worked around. Most monitors in this band sit between 250 and 300 nits, which is comfortable in a shaded room and washed out beside a window in the afternoon. If the desk faces daylight, that figure decides the monitor more than its resolution does. Check the inputs too: a single HDMI port and no DisplayPort limits both what you can connect and what refresh rate you can reach.

We list 56 monitors under ₹15,000, from ₹4,029 — 49% of the 114 monitors we track. Acer accounts for the most of them with 17, across 10 brands in all. Every price was read from the shop's own page and carries the date it was checked, and the order on this page is cheapest first.
