Bank offers are set by the bank, capped, often limited to specific cards, and can change or end without notice. The price you pay is whatever the retailer shows at checkout — always confirm there.

The low performance and limited RAM make it hard to recommend against alternatives.

Is it any good?

Spec score: 60 out of 100

Given the steep price for what is inside, you can find better daily runners that offer smoother operation and better long-term value in India.

What works

  • The 6.9-inch screen gives you plenty of space for reading and viewing media.
  • Comes with 128 GB of onboard storage for your apps and media files.
  • Includes modern 5G connectivity for supported networks.

What does not

  • The 6 GB RAM is tight for heavy multitasking and modern apps.
  • The 4 Gen 5 processor lags behind peers at this price point.
  • The large 6.9-inch form factor can feel bulky to carry and use with one hand.

Spec scores — worked out from the specification sheet (chip, battery against screen size, display, camera, ANC…) and the store price, not from hands-on testing. Sound quality and a watch's accuracy are not on a spec sheet, so part of those areas is the price class among similar products. Areas the specs cannot tell us are left out.

Before you buy

Things the product page will not tell you

  • The 4 Gen 5 processor offers basic speeds that may struggle with demanding apps.

  • The 6.9-inch display makes the phone harder to pocket and operate with one hand.

  • The 6 GB RAM configuration leaves little room for future app updates.

01

What is the POCO M8x 5G good at?

Nothing on its specification sheet stands out: its strongest area is portability at 64/100. It scores 60/100 overall. These come from the specification sheet and the store price — nobody has handled the product, so they say what it should be able to do, not how it feels to use.

02

Is the POCO M8x 5G good for photography?

It does not fit any one job strongly — travel is its closest at 63/100. For photography it scores 63/100, below the 65 we treat as a fit — look at something built for that instead.

03

POCO M8x 5G or Redmi 15C — which is better?

They score within five points of each other (60/100 against 61/100), so price decides it: the POCO M8x 5G costs ₹500 more. Both are judged on their specification sheets and today's prices, so put them side by side if one spec matters more to you than the total.

04

Where is the POCO M8x 5G cheapest right now?

Flipkart, at ₹20,999. We check 2 shops for this one, and the dearest is ₹700 above that. Every price here was read from the shop's own page — the amount you pay is whatever the retailer shows at checkout, so confirm it there.

05

Is the POCO M8x 5G in stock?

Flipkart showed it in stock, new, 29 days ago. 2 of the 2 shops we check had it in stock at that point. Stock changes faster than prices, so the shop’s own page is the final word.

06

What is the lowest price the POCO M8x 5G has sold for?

₹20,299, on 1 Nov 2026 — the lowest of 5 prices we have recorded since 21 Aug 2026. Today’s price is that low. The highest we saw was ₹22,999, and the price changed 4 times along the way.

07

How does the POCO M8x 5G’s price compare with other smartphones?
