The retailer picks the MRP it discounts from, so a headline percentage means little. Only 10% of this comes from that number, and it is capped.

Is it any good?

Spec score: 58 out of 100

It handles basic daily tasks without fuss. However, you should check how easily POCO service centres are located near you for maintenance and warranty support in India.

What works

  • The 6.9-inch screen gives you plenty of space for reading and watching videos comfortably.
  • Comes with 128 GB of storage to keep your apps and media without running out of room quickly.
  • Powered by the Dimensity 6300 chip for routine daily tasks and 5G connectivity.

What does not

  • Performance capabilities are basic, so heavy multitasking may cause slowdowns.
  • Brand resale value in local markets can be unpredictable compared to older market leaders.

Spec scores — worked out from the specification sheet (chip, battery against screen size, display, camera, ANC…) and the store price, not from hands-on testing. Sound quality and a watch's accuracy are not on a spec sheet, so part of those areas is the price class among similar products. Areas the specs cannot tell us are left out.

Before you buy

Things the product page will not tell you

  • Check if an authorized POCO service centre is easily accessible in your city for warranty claims.

  • The Dimensity 6300 chip is built for everyday tasks, not heavy gaming or intense workloads.

    Questions people ask

9 answered here. Tap one to open it — every answer is written out in full, not summarised.

    01

What is the POCO C85 5G good at?

Nothing on its specification sheet stands out: its strongest area is portability at 64/100. It scores 58/100 overall. These come from the specification sheet and the store price — nobody has handled the product, so they say what it should be able to do, not how it feels to use.

    02

Is the POCO C85 5G good for photography?

It does not fit any one job strongly — travel is its closest at 63/100. For photography it scores 60/100, below the 65 we treat as a fit — look at something built for that instead.

    03

POCO C85 5G or Redmi 15C 5G Prime Edition — which is better?

They score within five points of each other (58/100 against 60/100), so price decides it: the POCO C85 5G costs ₹6,300 less. Both are judged on their specification sheets and today's prices, so put them side by side if one spec matters more to you than the total.

    04

Is ₹14,199 a good price for the POCO C85 5G?

Zepto, at ₹14,199. We check 3 shops for this one, and the dearest is ₹5,200 above that. Every price here was read from the shop's own page — the amount you pay is whatever the retailer shows at checkout, so confirm it there.

    06

Is the POCO C85 5G in stock?
