Spec score: 69 out of 100

The POCO C85x 5G offers a massive 6300 mAh battery that keeps the phone running through long days without needing a charge. Its large 6.9-inch LCD screen provides plenty of space for reading and viewing media. However, the 720 x 1600 resolution and 32 MP main camera are quite basic for this price range, meaning visuals and photos will lack fine detail.

What works

  • The 6300 mAh battery easily lasts through a full day of heavy use.
  • The expansive 6.9-inch display gives you a large viewing area for reading and videos.
  • Offers 5G connectivity for faster mobile data networks in India.

What does not

  • The 720 x 1600 resolution on a 6.9-inch screen results in less sharp text and images.
  • The 4 GB RAM is restrictive for heavy multitasking or demanding apps.
  • The 32 MP main camera struggles to capture sharp, detailed photographs.

Spec scores — worked out from the specification sheet (chip, battery against screen size, display, camera, ANC…) and the store price, not from hands-on testing. Sound quality and a watch's accuracy are not on a spec sheet, so part of those areas is the price class among similar products. Areas the specs cannot tell us are left out.

Before you buy

Things the product page will not tell you

  • The 720 x 1600 resolution stretched across a 6.9-inch screen means text and videos will look less sharp.

  • The 4 GB RAM might slow down when you have many apps open at the same time.
